About me
Hello, my name is Angelica and I am a dedicated consultant specializing in foster youth services. With a unique combination of passion, lived experience, and expertise, I am deeply committed to supporting transition-age foster youth (TAY) as they navigate their journey toward independence and success.
I am a proud alumna and current board member of First Place for Youth, as well as a member of the Omega Boys Club/Alive & Free. With over 15 years of experience in social services and workforce development, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from teens to adults. Currently, I serve as a Program/Financial Specialist for Alameda County Health, where I support the financial planning, analysis, and oversight of public health programs to ensure resources are aligned with community needs.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, equipping me with both the academic background and practical skills necessary to create impactful solutions. My work is driven by a passion for empowerment, helping underserved communities, particularly transition-aged foster youth, overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
Through my consulting practice, I provide comprehensive support in program planning, education, career development, and employment assistance. I specialize in helping organizations and individuals design impactful programs, navigate organizational change, and build pathways to economic mobility and personal growth. Particularly, I work to develop individualized strategies and services that address the unique challenges faced by transition-age foster youth, empowering them to transition successfully into adulthood. Whether through tailored programming or direct guidance, my goal is to help transition-aged foster youth build the foundation they need to thrive.
